Presentation:
Let’s meet Pauline, an active woman who uses her Decathlon Elops 520 bike to get to work. To make her daily commute more efficient and get more use out of her bike, she decided to go electric.
Description of the Electrified Front Bike:
Pauline bought her second-hand bike on Le Bon Coin for €200. Despite its pre-owned nature, the bike is in excellent condition. After a minor overhaul (brakes, tires) and the addition of more powerful lights than the dynamo, it’s perfectly suited to his urban needs.
Reasons for Electrification:
Pauline wanted to switch to an Electrically Assisted Bike (EAB) to improve her cycling experience. However, lacking the means for a new top-of-the-range model and a bad experience with a low-end wheel-mounted bike, she decided to turn to electrification. A friend introduced him to this solution.
Choice of Syklo Kit:
That’s how Pauline chose Syklo for her electrification project. She opted for our 360Wh kit with Expert display. This lightweight, designer configuration, together with the ability to monitor consumption, was just what he was looking for. Our commitment as a small French company offering excellent after-sales service made Pauline’s choice all the more convincing.
Kit installation:
With Syklo’s technical assistance and her boyfriend’s help in dismantling the crankset, Pauline was able to easily install the kit on her bike.
Experience After Electrification:
This kit has transformed Pauline’s cycling life. Assistance is smooth and natural, making his bike more agile than a friend’s electrified Bafang BBS01.
Conclusion:
Pauline’s experience is testimony to Syklo’s commitment to accessible, sustainable and adaptable mobility. Thanks to our electrification kits, we can help cyclists who want to go electric without giving up their existing bike.
